The ticking is crafted from wool, silk, and viscose, chosen for breathability and softness to condition the microclimate from the first point of contact.
Underneath, the upholstery unfolds in a deliberate sequence: resilient British fleece wool for moisture regulation, then the long-crimped horsetail to preserve loft, followed by a refined layer of Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere for a softer transition that moderates temperature. Real Shetland Wool and organic cotton form the core to add body and absorbent capacity, while a two-layer hand-nested vanadium steel calico pocket spring system of 3,296 springs in King size responds independently to weight and movement. The border is finished with coir and wool, anchored by four rows of hand side-stitching to strengthen the perimeter and extend the sleep surface to the edge, with hand-tufted woollen tufts compressing the layers into a stable depth at every point.
